O2 Student Ministry

The student ministry of First Baptist Church exists to lead real students into real relationships with a real Creator God.

Imagine a place where middle and high school students can fellowship and worship together in a relevant and life-changing experience that is accompanied with sound biblical teaching in order to equip them for everyday life! That is what we offer at FBC!!!

Students have an opportunity to participate, grow, and serve in many different ways:

O2 Refuge
This exciting Wednesday night service is for all students 6th-12th grade. Students meet in the smith building for games, free food, fellowship, Christ-centered worship, and sound biblical teaching. O2 Refuge is on Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:00 throughout the year.

LIFE Groups
Sunday morning is a great time for discipleship! Our students meet in the Fellowship Hall of FBC for breakfast and bible study. Beginning with a large group teaching time the students are able to interact and hear God’s word clearly. Following the large group time, students disperse into small groups for discussion and fellowship. LIFE groups are held between the Sunday Morning Celebration services from 9:30-10:30.

Student Ministry Teams

Praise & Worship Team
Goal: To lead the students of O2 Student Ministries in Christ-centered praise & worship with the sole desire to see God glorified and to lead students into deeper relationship with Christ.

Prayer Team
Goal: To lift the community of students, leaders, parents, and fellow church members of O2 Student Ministries up in Christ-centered prayer and adoration and to provide immediate prayer support in times of trouble and despair.

Drama Team
Goal: To provide Christ-centered, Biblically accurate, and exciting presentations of drama and skits to enhance the worship and learning experiences of O2 Student Ministries.

Sound & Media Team
Goal: To ensure the sound and visual quality of every service and ministry of O2 Student Ministries so that everyone will have ample opportunity to hear the Christ-centered message of the gospel.

Community Service (CS) Team
Goal: To provide spiritual, physical, and encouraging support to the Frostproof community as Christ-centered Ambassadors of O2 Student Ministries.
